Due to the wireless radios that we employ in Notion systems, we are required to test and certify Notion for lawful distribution on a country by country basis. In the US, we’ve completed FCC testing, and in Canada, we’ve completed IC testing. We’ve also worked through CE certification for a number of countries in Europe as well as RoHS, WEEE, REACH, Prop 65, and more, however many countries also require a local rep and additional tests in order to import wireless products.
This means at this time, Notion is only available for direct purchase in The US and Canada.
Unfortunately, this also means that we are not able to ship a Notion system to a local address to be forwarded along internationally. Freight forwarders are a convenient way to increase a distribution network, but their services circumvent the various rules and regulations that Notion must adhere to. This makes freight forwarders illegal when it comes to shipping Notion.
As much as we would love to offer Notion worldwide, it is simply not feasible for our small team to cover everything required. In the future as our team grows, we hope to offer greater international support. Stay posted for more information available in our newsletter.
