One of the key options that contributed greatly to the wide adoption of Jira and Confluence was Atlassian pricing model - 10$ a year for a team up to 10. Same goes for Slack multi channel guests.
I understand that the pricing model like this would not work for Notion. Yet I would argue that a somewhat more lenient plan might be of benefit, to allow the existing users to promote the application JUST BY INVITING others to consume their knowledge space.
I absolutely love Notion - replaces Trello, Evernote, Wunderlist in my workflow.
But I collaborate a lot and 8$ a month would be prohibitive for me to convince my colleagues to try a new platform.
