How To Enable Tasks For Notion PRO
After you register your Notion PRO subscription, the next step is to choose which tasks to enable for professional monitoring. There are two ways to enable a task for Notion PRO.
- From the home page of the app click on "System">"Your Plan">"Enable Tasks For PRO."
- OR you can enable tasks individually. Click on the individual task from the home screen of the app, then click "Settings">"Task Details."
At a glance, you can see which tasks are actively being professionally monitored by checking the count at the top of your home screen. If a task is enabled for professional monitoring, you will also see a small gold shield next to the task on the home screen of your app. If the shield is filled in, that means it is actively being professionally monitored. If the shield is NOT filled in, that means it is enabled, and you will need to ARM your system in order for it to be professionally monitored.
How Are Different Tasks Affected By Enabling or Disabling Professional Monitoring?
After you choose which tasks you want to enable for Notion PRO, understand how arming and disarming your system affects communication via critical alerts, text messages and phone calls:
- Water leaks, sounding alarms and safe tasks do not require your system to be armed in order to receive additional communication via critical alerts, text messages and phone calls for in-progress escalations.
- Door, garage door and window tasks do require Notion PRO to be armed in order to receive additional communication via critical alerts, text messages and phone calls for in-progress escalations. Currently the following tasks are eligible for Notion PRO:
(i) Note that the Temperature task is only eligible for Notion PRO escalations when temperatures dip below 41°. Enable any temperature task to receive PRO Freeze Warnings.
