Nest and Notion work together to help conserve energy in your home.
- Notion will let you know when you leave an exterior door or window open while your Nest is running.
- With Notion and Nest, monitor your whole home’s average temperature over time.
How does it work?
Setup some of your Notion sensors so that they detect motion on your high traffic exterior doors and windows. When Notion is connected Nest, we’ll monitor if your Nest thermostat is heating or cooling your home. If Notion notices that an exterior door or window has been left open while your Nest is running, we’ll send you a notification to close it or adjust your thermostat.
Notion only wants to notify you when it is meaningful to you, so you can adjust what sensors participate in this integration and how long you’d like to wait before getting notified. Click here for more information on participating sensors.
