You want Notion to be great and so do we! We are constantly willing to listen to our users and re-evaluate our priorities based on the features that you want to see. Start by reaching out to our support desk. We are your advocate and direct line of contact with our product team. Click here to submit a ticket, or we're available directly by email at support@getnotion.com or by phone at (877)668-4660. Once we get your message we'll share more information about our next steps.
What We're Currently Working On
We can't always share the nitty gritty details of new features that are ready for release, but we can usually give general comments on the latest information available to us. If the feature that you're requesting is something in the works, we'll do our best to let you know. At some point we may even have a live board to share the status of features as they are in progress in real time.
Getting Creative
It's possible that the feature you want to see is something that you can do on your own with some creative installation of your Notion system. We can't always guarantee the accuracy of these workarounds, but we want to help make sure you can get the most out of your system. If we have info or insight that can help you accomplish your goals, we'll do our best to share.
Submitting a Feature Request
Even if your request has a valid workaround, we will still escalate notes to our product team for review. Our customer service team will summarize our conversation and submit a ticket to our internal board. At that point, a few Notion team leaders meet on a regular basis to determine what we should work on together. There are a lot of things that we all want to change about Notion; choosing a few things every once in a while helps us make sure the whole system moves in the right direction. This way we don't focus too much of our effort in one part of the system while forgetting other parts.
If your feature request is something that other users have already requested, we attach your message to the ticket that we have already created. This way we can know when a lot of users want to see one improvement or when only a few users want to see different changes. The development of Notion is always moving in one direction or another, and your input is invaluable to determining our priorities.
